Then should we throw away all the diesel cars and trains we used to ride, and all the existing internal combustion engine machines?

그렇다면 기존 우리가 타던 디젤 자동차와 기차, 기존의 수많은 내연기관 기계들은 모두 버려야만 할까?

예를 들어 디젤 자동차이지만 동시에 자율주행차량이 나올 수 있을까? 폐차보다 비효율적일까?

아주 뛰어난 기술이 생겨나서 작은 기구를 붙이면 내연기관 차량이 스스로 움직일 수 있다면 어떨까? 그래서 그 컨트롤러를 한꺼번에 수많은 내연기관 차량에 붙이면, 중앙통제에 따라 일제히 오랜 차들이 스스로 움직이는 것이다.

차량뿐 아니라, 비행기, 배를 포함한 많은 구식기계에 적용 가능한 것이다.

기존의 정들었던 기계들을 사용하는 것은 조화롭기도 하고, 한편으로는 무서운 일이기도 하다. (그렇게 잠든 기계를 손쉽게 조종한다면)
